Mena Suvari was born on February 9, 1979, in Newport, Rhode Island. Mena started modeling when she was yet twelve years of age. Two years after, she started appearing in different TV shows like "ER" and "Boy Meets World".

Mena Suvari became a famous actress for the films "American Beauty" and "American Pie". She was also seen in the early year 2000 movies like "Spun" and "The Musketeer". In 2004, Mena became a part of the HBO-produced TV series "Six Feet Under" where she played a lesbian artist role.
